Lamp Berger

The first Lampe Berger lamp was created in 1898 by Maurice Berger, a pharmacy dispenser, to purify the air in hospital wards.

In the 1930’s fragrance began to provide a pleasurable dimension; the taste for beautiful objects also reached its peak and the Lampe Berger lamp became a collector's item.
Jean Cocteau and Pablo Picasso were the first “well-known people”
to appreciate it.

No moving parts or power source required…
Each Lamp has a wick and a perfume. The wick is lit for two minutes, blown out and a diffuser is placed on top of the lamp and left to diffuse for twenty minutes or alternatively light for 4 minutes
and then diffuse for 30 minutes

This begins the catalytic process by which the air pur system destroys bacteria in the air and kills the molecules responsible
for the unwanted odors, swine flu, smoke/shoe/pet odours.
